These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the APImyCAD.com conversion API and website (the "Service"), operated by Quality Castings BV, Europark 122, 3620 Lanaken, Belgium, VAT number BE0772671019 ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
APImyCAD provides an HTTP API that converts CAD and 3D model files between formats. You send a file, we convert it and return the result. The set of available endpoints and supported formats is described in our documentation at apimycad.com and may change over time.
You agree not to:
File conversion is inherently lossy between formats, and source files vary enormously in quality and complexity. In particular, support for the DWG format depends on the version the file was saved in: older versions (up to roughly AutoCAD 2013) convert reliably, while newer versions may convert only partially or not at all.
You must verify converted output before relying on it, especially for manufacturing, machining, quoting or any other use where an error has physical or financial consequences. We provide conversion as a technical service and do not warrant that output is complete, dimensionally exact, or fit for a particular purpose.
We aim to keep the Service available continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may suspend the Service for maintenance, and we may change, limit or discontinue endpoints. Where an endpoint's underlying converter is unavailable, the API returns an explicit error (HTTP 503) rather than incorrect output.
Paid plans are billed in advance per period, plus any overage. Where you subscribe through a marketplace, that marketplace handles billing, invoicing and refunds under its own terms. Fees exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. We may change prices with reasonable notice; changes do not apply to a period already paid for.
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if your use threatens the stability or security of the Service, or if payment fails. You may stop using the Service at any time by cancelling your plan.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of profit, production downtime, scrap or rework costs, or loss of data. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for fraud, gross negligence, or death or personal injury.
If you use the Service as a consumer, mandatory consumer-protection rights under Belgian and EU law are not affected by these Terms.
We may update these Terms. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced on this page; continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes shall be brought before the Commercial Court (Ondernemingsrechtbank) of Tongeren, Belgium, without prejudice to any mandatory rules that grant a consumer the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
